The 2002 Ohio State Buckeyes football team was the national champion of the 2002 college football season. The team was the first in Division I-A (now Division I FBS) history to finish its season at 14?C0, and the second to win 14 games, following BYU's 14?C1 season in 1996. The Buckeyes' 14?C0 record has since been matched by Boise State and Alabama in 2009, Auburn in 2010, and Florida State in 2013. Led by junior quarterback Craig Krenzel and senior safety Mike Doss, the Buckeyes won the 2003 Fiesta Bowl, which was also the 2003 BCS National Championship Game.
